I am a certified Notary Public and certified Loan Signing Agent through the NNA program. In my career history, I have worked in the Mortgage Industry for 18 years. Six years as a Mortgage Loan Auditor (auditing closing packages), and then 12 Years as a Compliance Manager for 2 Mortgage Companies. I am familiar with all of the mortgage documents and I am also familiar with the laws regulating my boundaries of what I can and cannot tell a borrower with regards to those documents. I know I cannot discuss rates or discuss their loan, other than the numbers listed on the Closing Disclosure. Any specific loan question (that is not on the Closing Disclosure), has to be referred back to their Mortage Loan Originator or Title company.
