I never miss anything on the VA loan application. I make sure the top of the 1003 is signed. I make sure that I go over the closing statement, the note and the payment letter with the borrower. If anything goes wrong or the borrower has any questions, I’d have your number on speed dial. I understand if there are any typos or errors, to call escrow officer right away. I understand that the loan needs to fund before the rate expires. I never miss Rate locks and expiration dates. I make sure to FedEx all documents back to the lenders within 24 hours.
