Michele B. Carlson, a native of Washington D.C. started her career as a police officer in Washington D.C. on the Campus of Georgetown University. Escorting dignitaries was part of her primary responsibilities, to include Rose Kennedy the mother of President John F. Kennedy and the former secretary of state Mr. Henry Kissinger. While serving as a police officer Michele Carlson established several successful businesses in Washington DC. She enjoys setting up business opportunities from scratch.
Col. Carlson transferred to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police in 1985 and was assigned to National Airport and Dulles International Airport. During her tour of duty with the Airports Authority she was recruited by the Hyattsville City Police as the first minority female ever to serve on the prestigious City Police Force located in Prince Georges County Maryland in 1989.
During chief Carlson's long and distinguished law enforcement career, she has worked in the capacities of a foot patrol officer, vehicle patrol officer, Narcotic K-9 Handler, Community Police Officer (Assigned to Schools and Hospital Safety), a Detective, Patrol Commander, Radar Instructor, Certified Police Trainer, Certified Field Training officer, Certified Field Training Coordinator, Deputy Chief (Certified Administrator) and then Chief of Police. Upon her arrival in Phoenix she flew with the United States Marshal's (Justice Aviation Prisoner Transportation Division to transport illegal aliens back to their countries of origin.
As a decorated officer, Col. Carlson was awarded the bronze medal of valor.
Col. Carlson has more than 20 years experience as an entrepreneur and management specialist. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources and Conflict Management.

After flying for the Marshal’s service Col. Carlson could not face retirement and therefore opened Desert Dove Mobile Notary in 2006 and AZUSA Security in 2012. Col. Carlson enjoys meeting people, and jokingly says that she is still getting them to sign on the dotted line but not a traffic ticket.
