I was a funder in the mortgage industry for 10 years before starting my own Notary Business and also have experience in doc drawing, secondary marketing and transaction coordinating. Many times I found myself drawing the loan docs, signing the clients, then packaging and funding the loans! I am experienced with Conventional, VA, FHA, HELOCS, Reverse Mortgages, Construction Loans, Seller Docs and various out-of-state documents. Much of the work I do now is with former co-workers, loan officers and escrow officers who remember me from long ago and trust me to take care of their delicate transactions. Wells Fargo, Union Bank, US Bank, Chase, Suntrust Mortgage, Bank of America, Sierra Pacific, Provident Funding, Cal Pacific, CMG, Movement Mortgage, Caliber Home Loans and Flagstar are just a few of the many lenders whose docs I am familiar with. There are also many other lenders who use common loan document programs.
I thoroughly enjoy what I do and people can tell. I understand most signers automatically assume I work for either the lender or the escrow company and am essentially an extension of both parties. I strive to conduct myself accordingly, supporting both parties and maintaining a professional attitude throughout the meetings.
