I understand than an incomplete signing or a signing full of errors can cost a mortgage officer a rate lock, a buyer to miss a close of escrow, or just cause everyone involved headaches.  Notaries have to be impartial, but not uneducated. I always make sure your borrowers knows what they are signing by guiding them to the loan docs.

I walk borrower through tall importan documents· 
I return loan docs ASAP and completely filled out: PCOR, statement of information, Trust Certification, and so forth. 
Late appointments? That's not a problem because I am here to help you close.
