I have worked at a title company for almost six years as a closing agent regularly conducting buyer and seller signings each week. I have over 2,000 notary entries in my Notary Records Journals, which means I have approximately 1,200 to 1,500 real estate signings that I have conducted. Being that I also have been a Real Estate Agent in California and Colorado, I have a high level of knowledge and understanding of the entire real estate sales and closing process, including settlement statements, loan documents, wire fraud prevention and of course, proper notarizations. I also helped our title officer with title examinations and part of that process is closely examining the notary section of the vesting deeds to ensure that it was done accurately and completely.
