As a notary, I am a public official appointed by the state government to serve as an impartial witness in the signing of important documents. My role is to verify the identity of the signer, ensure they are signing the document of their own free will, and administer oaths or affirmations when necessary.

To become a notary, I underwent a rigorous process that included passing a background check, taking a course on notary law and procedures, and passing an exam. Once appointed, I am authorized to perform a variety of notarial acts, including acknowledging signatures, certifying copies, administering oaths, and taking depositions.

In my day-to-day work, I am often called upon to notarize documents such as wills, powers of attorney, real estate deeds, and loan documents. I work with a wide range of clients, from individuals and families to small business owners and corporate executives. Each client has unique needs, and it is my job to ensure that their documents are properly notarized and legally binding.
