I am a court appointed special advocate (CASA) or Guardian ad Litem (GAL) specially trained volunteer appointed by the juvenile court judge to represent a child victim in cases of abuse and neglect. I was appointed The Legal Guardian and Conservator for my brother-in-law while in dementia care for two years.
