Title Agency Contract Notary/Presenter

I've been the on-call notary, in-house at a builder's title agency since Sept. 2021. I conduct back-to-back, in-house closings, often all day long (5-6-7 per day).

I am not there every day and still have bandwidth for additional assignments and relationships.

I do this full time; this is not a side hustle.

BEST PRACTICES OBSERVED ~

• I administer Oaths – by law, a jurat certificate is invalid without one.
• I keep a notary journal – it safekeeps the transaction details should a notarized document be lost or altered, or if facts concerning the notarization are later challenged in court. ...................................................................................................................................................

TRAINING ~

My training helps me to be particularly cautious of missteps that could delay loan funding. I'm engaged in continuous notary education – extensive reading, subscription to multiple educational platforms, and weekly virtual meet-ups with accomplished notary expert educators recognized by the National Notary Association.
