I am an Indiana-commissioned Notary Public/Licensed Indiana Title Producer, who has been conducting remote loan closings on a regular basis since 1997. I am an independent contractor for LSI, Sunshine Signing Connection, Statewide Document Services, JMT Documentation, Insured Closings, Nations Signature Closers, Pacific Document Service, Nations Direct, TranStar National Title, National Real Estate Information Services, American Signing Connection, and Universal Document Express, to name just a few. I have conducted closings for Bank of America, Fifth Third Bank, Quicken, Countrywide/PNC and J P Morgan Chase, to mention some of the lenders.
In addition, I have a Master’s Degree in English and have been a licensed real estate broker since 1990. I began my real estate career with a nationwide company, Coldwell Banker, in 1987 and continue my association with them today. In 2002, I held the Principal Broker license for Coldwell Banker-West Shell in Indiana. As a salesperson and broker, I have witnessed countless purchase closings with buyers and sellers. In my mobile notary business, I conduct refinance; second mortgage; debt settlement; reverse mortgage; loan modification; and home equity lines of credit (heloc) closings in borrowers’ homes or offices. I have conducted over 1000 closings, not including those I have witnessed while representing clients of Coldwell Banker, and I have notarized purchasers’ and sellers’ signatures for those closings, also. I am knowledgeable about signatures for powers of attorney and trusts, as well as current on mandated Indiana Tax Benefit disclosure and Indiana RREAL reporting requirements for closings.
I own a laser fax-copier-scanner, desktop computer, inkjet printer, 2 notebook computers, high-speed DSL modem, and a home office where I can receive documents by fax, email, or overnight courier. My transportation, a late model AWD Subaru Outback, is reliable and very useful because some of the rural county roads are rugged. I work flexible hours, 7 days a week, and have reasonable fees. (Depending upon what your standard fee covers, there may be an additional charge for making borrowers’ copies, email documents, or unusual mileage/time.)
