I have been a notary since 1976 except for a 10-year period from 2000 to 2010 when I no longer needed the commission for my work as an insurance agent and selling automobiles. I have been performing mortgage field services since 2007 and as the mortgage crisis began heating up I begin to get more and more requests for mobile notary services. So, I got my commission back and have completed over 1000 various mobile notary jobs since late 2012. Most of those have been re-financed mortgages. But, I've also done seller side, cash sales, employment verification (I-9), vehicle transactions, etc.
