I've been in the real Estate business for 30 years. During this time there's been many changes. I have owned brokerages since 2000 starting my first independent real estate firm in Hilton Head SC with 2 brokerages. During that time I offered in house services not typically provided by brokerages that made our firm stand out. I've been in government planning along with development of subdivisions/communities. I have 30 years of experience of closing loans with mortgage products ranging from Fha, VA, conventional, refinance, DAP & to programs for investor hard money closings. I made it a requirement for all my Realtors to know the closing procedures & documents so that they could explain them to the client & to verify that they were correct. I also have a REO acquisition department where I have provided foreclosure services to major asset firms around the country. Coordinating with & sometimes providing Title companies for my clients with my duty of verifying the settlement statement & disclosures before submitting the documents to the client.
