I am a civil law notary in Louisiana with statewide jurisdiction. I'm a certified member with the (NNA) National Notary Association, and currently I am on the Louisiana Notary Association committee (LNA). In addition, I furthered my signing agent training by obtaining my Notary2Pro certificate. I can provide excellent job references from former and current colleagues in the mortgage and real estate industry. In 1999 while in college, I started my experience in the mortgage world. I've worked in post closing and as a full package mortgage underwriter. For 5 years, I was a legal assistant for 3 attorneys, and for the past 5 years I've been in commercial real estate. I am a licensed real estate agent and have my B.A. in Business. I'm currently taking Post degree paralegal courses, and I am a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Producer. My credentials are up to date. I have a recent background check. I carry 100K in E&O, a 10K bond, and general liability insurance.
With my job experience including a work as a mortgage underwriter, I am familiar with how the mortgage process works, what it takes to get approved, what it takes to get the borrower to closing, and the importance of accuracy.
