I understand that an incomplete signing or a signing full of errors can cost a mortgage officer a rate lock, a buyer to miss a close of escrow, or cause funding conditions delaying the closing. Experienced in HELOCs, Refi's, Buyer/seller packages as well as reverse mortgages. I guide the borrower through the closing documents. I have no shame in asking questions and making sure that all signatures, dates, and stamps are where they should be. I quadruple-check my closings. However, even with reviewing 4x, I have made errors. When this has occurred I fully owned my error and immediately made the correction. It is first priority even if I have had other appointments. Docs are dropped in a timely manner. I live with a 10-mile radius of FedEx that closes at 9 pm. This has been huge for out-of-state seller/buyer transactions.
