My name is Shawn Fenner —— and I am a cardio thoracic nurse in NY. I recently attained my notary certification through NSA. I took the initiative to become an active notary agent because I felt it was an additional means through which I could put the many skills I possess and have acquired to work. As a nurse, in the surgical field, my skill set includes being prepared, organized, proactive and focused. I have a tremendous amount of experience in working with individuals as patients, colleagues and teammates. Being able to communicate and walk people through stressful situations regularly, is an asset that I feel will help contribute to my responsibilities as an agent. I’m already trained to take accurate notes, pay attention to detail, organize records, keep schedules and manage time. In addition, I understand the importance of maintaining a professional rapport as well as building relationships and keeping sensitive information confidential. I am a motivated individual that has always been naturally driven to helping people.I look forward to the opportunity to further expand the capacity in which I can do this as a notary agent.
