I started in the Real Estate and Mortgage Banking industry in Hilton Head, SC in 1983. I worked for 1 of the 2 largest real estate companies on the island. I was with Hilton Head Company Realty as an Assistant Sales Administrator handling contracts and escrow deposits. I sat for and earned my South Carolina Real Estate License at 20 years old. I worked closely with lawyers and title companies to get the deals closed. When Hilton Head Company Realty was sold to Sea Pines Realty, I moved to First Federal of South Carolina and was a receptionist/loan processor in training. I handled the construction draws. I worked for Cardinal Industries in the mortgage processing department from 1988 till they went out of business. I worked with 3 real estate appraisal companies in the Greater Columbus area over the course of the last 26 years. I have a full understanding of the entire real estate transaction from start to finish and the documents and processes involved.
