I am loan signing agent in the greater Portland metro area and I am interested in serving your agency. I have worked as a commercial insurance broker for over 18 years which has given me much experience being very detail oriented, organized, thorough and well acquainted with contract language. Through this work experience I have also gained the understanding of the value of being able to simplify a process for clients (in this case,the borrower) and the importance of a completed product for your organization. My ability to relate and communicate with people will put your clients at ease as they finalize their loan process, which may have been stressful for them.

To prepare myself, I have become fully educated about the common errors LSA's make. Specifically, I always make sure to check that the notice of right to cancel date is correct using a recession calendar, I ensure the clients fill out the Statement of Information, Trust Certification, and Disbursement of Proceeds. I am also aware that signing agents often miss the top signature line on the front of the 1003, so I always double-check for that signature as well as the signature on the top of the second page of the FHA or VA Loan Application.

In the event that there are issues with loan documents I will reach out to your office or the appropriate contact to resolve the situation quickly, hopefully before meeting with the borrower. To ensure that there are no errors in my work, my goal is to take my time to review the loan package thoroughly before I leave the client to make sure that there are no missing signatures, initials, dates, or stamps.

In addition, I will follow instructions for transmitting and delivering the finalized loan package in a timely manner. To prepare, I have checked schedules in my area for the major courier services (FedEx, UPS) so that I am able to get documents out at the earliest opportunity. I understand the impact of a delayed process can be detrimental to both your agency and the borrower. My representation of your agency is my utmost concern and my goal is to make you look amazing!
