I established Rod Tallman Notary because of a desire to replace retirement with a new challenge, a drive to continue my professional business career in a new venture that is my own but still team oriented, and my need to help and interact with people.

I have over 200 hours of general notary and loan signing training from multiple highly regarded training programs such as the National Notary Association, Notary Stars, Signing Agent Basics and the State of Oregon. Some would argue that level of training is equivalent to at least 50 loan signings. I continue to participate in weekly trainings and I have access to phone Hot Lines from NNA and Notary Stars to get answers and advice in real time.

I have a full mobile office including laser printer and scanner to serve the Portland, Oregon community in and around Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Yamhill counties.

In my previous career I was a respected executive in the business world of Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Management including roles ranging from Product Manager to Sales Rep to Sales Director to small business owner. I have made hundreds of sales presentations to retailers while successfully scheduling and traveling a state wide territory with non-stop appointments and meeting hard order deadlines. I also made scores of presentations to sales forces large and small, industry groups, consumer groups, media companies, company employees, investors and bankers.

I bring that presentation experience and communication skill, along with the same professionalism, integrity, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail that graced my previous success, into my career as a Mobile Notary Signing Agent.
