I have been a notary public for five years. I worked at a local bank where I became familiar with and notarized many loan documents. and have completed over two hundred fifty loan signings. I have completed the Loan Signing System by Mark Wills and the Notary 2 Pro training. I have a thorough understanding of all the loan documents in the various types of home loans. Everything from first time buyers, refinance, reverse mortgage, and loan modifications. I know the importance of being able to point the buyers to the information they are looking for on the documents while letting them know that I am unable to give them any advice,
I am NNA certified, and I also completed the Notary123 course which added to the knowledge I gained with LSS. I feel that with this additional training, I have the competency to go to a loan signing and complete the assignment confidently and correctly.
I also know how important it is to get the documents signed, initialed, and dated correctly. One error on any of these could delay the loan funding. With that in mind, I emphasize how vital this is to the client. After the signing, I am sure to double and triple check the documents to be sure there is nothing missing.
I have completed approximately 250 signings, but I'm looking forward to doing many more.
