I'm a Notary Public with 18 yrs experience as a Signing Agent. I travel into 9 counties in western PA: Butler, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Crawford, Clarion, Armstrong, Beaver, & Allegheny (the northern half). I have experience in closing: refinances, purchases, helocs, heloans, new construction loans, mobile home refinances, home renovation loans, reverse mortgages, debt settlements, annuity buy-outs and/or settlements, home modification loans, conservation easement settlements, Quit Claim Deeds, loan application appts. I have worked with split closings, death property settlements, domestic partners, commercial loans, mentally and/or physically handicapped owners. In my first career, I was a Registered Nurse, working with people under stress while getting paperwork handled accurately. I transfer those skills to this financial environment. I have a very low error rate of less than 0.5% for document completions with people showing less stress toward the end of our appt than when beginning appt. I call as needed for back-up; I know where my nose ends and someone's role begins. And I am able to make executive decisions when back-up is not available.
