Excluding 2015 through April 2021, I have been a notary since 2010. I recently began doing notary work again because of the opportunities it not only provides myself, but also because it's a useful service to the community. Most of my notary experience had been for The UPS Store customers in Hamilton County Tennessee, until recently when I began notarizing documents for my other job: JMA. With JMA I notarize loan modification paperwork for people who are having a difficult time financially and want to keep their homes, but cannot do so at the current agreement with their current lender. Thus, the work is very similar to that which I am now doing as a Signing Agent. In my many years as a notary I have yet to have any incidents with my notarizations and that's because I am thorough and exacting in my work. I cannot give an exact number on the amount of notaries I have done, due to the years long interval I took off from notary work, but I know it was in the hundreds easily, and already I have done almost 50 signings just since July. Most of said signings are for The UPS Store customers, as they were before, but I have now also done 5 loan modification signings for my other job (JMA). I have notarized everything from the aforementioned Loan Modifications, to: Employment Paperwork, Records Requests, Pension Fund Transfers, Bill of Sale statements, and many, many more types. The only things I try to avoid are Quit Claims and most things involving Wills. I do, however, still review those types of notarizations on a case by case basis, so even those are not completely out of the question.
