I'm a former assistant controller for a Title Company. I have a lot of knowledge/understanding from the escrow office point of view from working with our branch office personnel throughout the country. I was directly responsible for leading the accounting group's functions which included heavy support for the escrow offices, always focused on timely responses due to the branches' busy schedules and front facing contact with consumers. As assistant controller I was exposed to all levels of corporate, home office, and branches but never spoke to customers. I think that's why I'm most excited about becoming a loan signing agent. I get to meet those prized customers that drove our customer satisfaction surveys!
