I am a NNA Certified Notary Public and a NNA Certified Signing Agent. I have been on every side of the mortgage process. I started my career in 2004 as a processor. Since then, I have worked as an underwriter and as a due diligence mortgage analyst. This role focused on ensuring all signatures and legal documents were disclosed and signed correctly. Based on my findings, the investor would request a repurchase from the lender if documents were not properly disclosed and signed. I understand the mortgage documents and the required signatures and how important these are to the final closing.
