As soon as I accept an assignment, I am on the phone with the client confirming their name, address, and appointment time. I let the client know in advance what identification is required at the signing. Before we begin the signing I advise the client that I cannot answer any questions regarding the documents, letting them know that I am notarizing their signatures. Should they have any questions, I always have the title companies information on hand. After signing, I make every effort possible to ensure same day document shipping, and if the closing is conducted after the shipping center is closed, I send the documents off the next morning.
