I was a Mortgage Loan Officer for almost 15 years (Branch Manager 2 of those years.) Before that I was a signing agent for a title company part-time.

As Loan Professional I would always ask for a copy of the closing package that we would send to the Attorney/Title Company. I would review each closing package along with the HUD to make sure it was correct, because many times mistakes were made. I had to make sure everything was correct, especially since I attended almost all of my closings.
