I am a retired attorney and have closed perhaps 15,000 real estate transactions since 1997. Virginia has not been an "Attorney" state for over 15 years, but I am looking to work for title companies willing to pay more than a basic notary fee to service their borrowers. Though no longer in active practice, I am able to accept funds at the closing table from your borrowers.

I have experience with all types of purchase transactions and refinance loans, including conventional, VA, FHA, Reverse Mortgages, DIL's, assumptions, partial and split signings to mention a few. I also perform signings for debt settlement, annuity purchases, identity proofing and whatever other type of signings your clients may need.

I cover all of what is known as the Hampton Roads, or Tidewater area, including the independent cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton and Newport News. I also service the Eastern Shore of Virginia (Northampton and Accomack counties, PLEASE ADD $20 FOR TOLLS, PLUS ADDL FEE FOR TRAVEL/DISTANCE), Williamsburg (James City County), and the counties of Isle of Wight (Smithfield) and Gloucester. I can travel to further locations within Virginia based upon the fee and need.

I am an NNA Certified Signing Agent through 2022.

Additionally, Virginia does not require Notaries to be bonded or carry any E & O Insurance. However, I carry $100,000 E & O Insurance and I am authorized to handle funds.
