I’m Nanette Rivera, the notary behind Prickly Pen Notary. I’m an NNA Certified Signing Agent, bonded, and E&O insured, bringing both professionalism and personality to every signing.

My career began in real estate, where I’ve held a license for over 16 years. Along the way, I also worked as an escrow officer assistant, which gave me firsthand experience with the details and deadlines that make or break a transaction. Those years taught me the value of accuracy, communication, and putting clients at ease — skills I carry into every notary appointment today.

I started Prickly Pen Notary with the belief that notarization doesn’t have to feel intimidating. My goal is to make the process simple, clear, and stress-free — whether you’re signing a loan package or a single-page affidavit. I’m detail-oriented, but I also believe a little warmth (and maybe a smile or laugh) goes a long way.

When I’m not meeting clients or printing out loan docs, you’ll usually find me outdoors enjoying a little Arizona sunshine — always with water in hand, of course.
