I am a new Notary. This is a new career for me. I spent 35 years in the medical field. I was an RN for 10 of those years, and then became a Certified Nurse-Midwife for a large HMO for 25 years where I held staff privileges in Women's Health including several thousand deliveries in the hospital. I hold a Masters of Science in Nursing degree with a specialty in Women's Health. After retiring, I realized I wanted more to do but in a new area. I am very reliable and good with people. I am very conscientious and detail oriented. I am single and my children are grown and I live alone so I am available at almost anytime. This includes weekends and nights. I am new to this area, but I am a quick learner. I can cover Los Angeles County and Orange County and up to Bakersfield. Although I haven't done any signings as yet, I hope to have the opportunity to complete one very soon. I have completed a course in Loan Signing Agent, so I believe I am ready to be given an assignment. I am very detail oriented and have studied the loan docs extensively. I know the important areas to check and double check. I understand how important it is to recheck all the signatures/initials prior to leaving the client. I also have a loan cancelation calendar so I definitley will have the correct dates on the docs. And I can promise I will return to the agency ASAP.
