I am a full- time notary signing agent, doing signings since 2001. I carry a copier/fax in my car, to make id copies, and to fax onsite if there is a landline, and no fax available. I also carry FEDEX and UPS envelopes, so I can drop packages more efficiently. I have three laser printers in my office, and I have a laptop, so I can perform e-signings. I have done over 3000 signings; refinances, reverse mortgages, purchase closings/same day courthouse filings, affidavits, split transactions, mobile home purchase closings, auto purchases, and POA signings. I dress to fit the situation- if I am doing a purchase closing at a bank, I wear business attire. If I am going to a customer's home, I dress more casually, but never inappropriately. I live in Greene county, and cover Columbia, Dutchess and Albany counties as well.
